About this Nominee
Safe Haven of Pender is a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence in Pender and Duplin counties with confidential shelter, advocacy, safety planning, and connections to community resources. Our two thrift stores—Safe Haven Thrift Store and Haven Home Furniture & Decor—provide free clothing and household essentials to clients and generate vital, unrestricted funding for our programs. When neighbors donate, shop, or volunteer at our stores, they directly support survivors and help families rebuild safe, stable lives.
